Jesus is Alive!

Happy Easter!

We had a very fun Easter Sunday today, and hope you did too.  

And!  We took lots of pictures.

The pictures tell their own stories, so I'll leave captions up to your imaginations...

but will just give you a run down of our day together:

-The Easter Bunny pooped fun things in our shoes overnight, and Asa loved it!

-We had a great Sunday morning celebrating the resurrection with our Canton First Church of the Nazarene Family

-We feasted on ham, cheesey potatoes, and veggies (green beans, broccoli, cucumber salad) for lunch.

-We invited our small group friends over and had a mini Easter-egg hunt for Asa and Braelynn

-We colored Easter eggs together and then just hung out the rest of the evening.

It was a fantastic holiday.

Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed!!

A Packing Break...

A packing break...

I feel like I take a lot of those.  I'm feeling super lazy, surrounded by boxes and with every minute that passes I feel more pressure to get it all boxed up... there's only a week and 2 days left to have it all done... and I'm no where close... so here I sit, looking at the boxes... 

Above are the ones that are packed...

 And then the above are the ones that have sat in our garage for 3 years that need to be sorted before they go anywhere with us.  This stack is the task at hand.  Once that is taken care of we can wrap dishes, pack bathroom stuff, pack Asa's toys and books and clothes, and conquer our bedroom (not necessarily in that order).  The office and main closets are already packed in the first picture you saw.

Overwhelming.

Makes me want to take a break.  Lots of breaks.

This break is almost over.

I will go back to packing...

Now is the perfect time to sort boxes and throw dinner in the oven as Asa is napping.
